Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Choice for my Florida pool/patio I toiled over outdoor speaker reviews for over six months before choosing these. I put these speakers in my home office for a week to use them for streaming purposes and a break in period before mounting in my covered patio. These speakers have great clarity and punchy bass. I am glad I went with the Atrium 6 instead of the 5. These speakers are replacing a smaller pair of Jensen 3-way outdoor speakers (15 years in use) still being sold at Best Buy for $99. These speakers will sound great when I mount them and the sound can travel across my patio/pool area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent…but This product was amazing no doubt I installed them and they have amazing bass 🔥! My only pet peeve is I wish Polk Audio would include the mounting bolts for the speakers or at least leave the info for the proper size mounting screws

Questions

How many watts do these speakers use? I am using a Viking 250W amp to install approximately 13 speakers, I need to know if this amp will power 13 of these speakers(ATrium6W)

Hello, the exact amount of watts that the speaker demands will depend on several factors, such as the playback volume, speaker wire length, and speaker wire gauge. The longer the run, the more resistance there will be. The Polk Audio Atrium 6 speakers have a sensitivity rating of 90dB, making them relatively easy to drive, and a recommended Amplifier Power Per Channel of 10 watts → 100 watts. I will point out that the amplifier mentioned is 70V and requires 70V speakers. The Polk Audio Atrium 6 speakers are not 70V compatible. Hello, the Polk Audio Atrium 6 outdoor speakers require a wired connection. If installing outdoors, outdoor speaker wire or direct burial wire is recommended.

Hello, Banana plugs will work with the Atrium 6. You will have to remove the plastic plugs on the top of the binding posts and there you can insert the banana plugs.
